Description
Excellent appetizer for guests at your next gathering. Easy and Quick too.
Ingredients
| 8 | oz | Cream Cheese (Softened) |
| 12 | Jalapeno Peppers | |
| 1 | lb | Bacon (Sliced) |
| 1 | T | Sugar |
| 1 | bn | Scallions |
| 12 | Smokey Lnks |
Instructions
Slice peppers lengthwise on one side and remove seeds. Keep the halves attached. Mix sugar, scallions and cream cheese in bowl. Place about 1-2 tablespoons of cheese mix inside each pepper. Press 1 smokey link inside the cheese mixture. Close and wrap with enough bacon to go all the way around. Place toothpick through to hold bacon wrapped around pepper. Place in oven at 300 degrees for about 30 minutes or until bacon is cooked.
Notes
You can also place the ABT's directly on a smoker at 250 degrees for about an hour. This will add a great smoky flavor to your treats.
