Q9 I registered but I didn't receive my login details.
A9 If you didn't receive your registration email when you registered it means that either you provided an invalid email address during the registration process, or you have some kind of Spam filter in place that's incorrectly marking the registration email as Spam and either deleting it or moving it to a "junk mail" type folder.
The first thing you should do is login to your account so you can enter your email address and update any other pertinent information.
If our system can't find you, you'll need to contact us giving your full street address and zip code along with other details that you provided during registration so we can lookup your account and change your email for you.
If your email address is found but you still don't receive the registration email, you should adjust your Spam/junk mail settings being sure to whitelist all email from the "Cyberbellum.com" domain if you have the facility to do so to ensure that email reaches you without getting incorrectly caught by your Spam filter.
Q10 I tried to register and it said my email was already in use.

Q11 I tried to register and it said my username was already in use.

Q18 I receive a "session timed out" message when I login to my account and when on the last step of placing an ad.
A18 If you're receiving a "session timed out" message when you try and login or on the last step when placing an ad, it simply means that something installed on your computer is stopping you from being able to access your account management area.
If you're running any security/privacy software on your computer you should add the Cyberbellum.com domain to your "safe websites" whitelist if you have the facility to do so as it may be blocking javascript, sessions, or cookies resulting in you not being able to login.
The same symptom may also be caused by your browser running in a high security mode and you may need to adjust your security/privacy settings on your web browser to tone down your security settings a little so you can login, and you should add the Cyberbellum.com domain to your safelist if you have the ability to do so with your web browser.
Q19 Writing a good ad title.
A19 The title of your ad is the most important aspect as this is what people see in the categories and search results and that is what is clicked on in order to view the rest of your ad.
By default, when somebody runs a search, it's your ad title that is searched so your title must contain descriptive words that describe what you're offering.
If your ad title doesn't describe what you're advertising, it can't be returned in the results when somebody runs a search.
Your title should be short and concise and should accurately describe what is being offered in your ad.
Bad titles include generic phrases such as "For Sale" or "Best Offer" These give potential buyers no idea what you're offering and they will be unlikely to click on your ad to view the rest of it.
Example:
If you were selling a 2007 Ford Ranger, your ad title should be "2007 Ford Ranger " rather than "For Sale" or "Great Truck". The best titles are always short and descriptive.
Ads with this type of title are usually much more successful because it's easy for customers to see what's being offered which attracts more clicks, more people finding your ad through searches, and more viewings of the ad.
Q20 Writing a good description.
A20 Having a good description can be the difference between making and breaking the sale.
Try and put yourself in the position of the kind of person you're trying to attract to your ad and ask yourself what information you'd like to see in the ad if you were the person looking to buy.
Short ads with little information rarely perform well while the most successful ads are the ones that include lots of information and descriptions and clear photo's which answer people's questions before they ask them.
It's important to include as much information as possible and include details such as shipping terms, costs, your returns policy if you have one, the total cost, when the buyer can expect to receive the item, if you provide tracking information etc.
Generally speaking, the more information the better as this helps the buyer make an informed decision without having to contact you for clarification on anything that you may have overlooked when creating your ad.
Q21 What makes a good ad?
A21 The most successful ads are usually ones that have a clear concise title, a thorough and accurate description with good spelling and punctuation, clear pricing, excellent images and any other information which is relevant such as shipping costs etc.
Ads with little information or bad punctuation send 'bad vibes' to buyers who will look elsewhere to buy.
Q22 What to avoid when creating an ad.
A22 When creating an ad you should avoid adding any irrelevant information that doesn’t relate directly to the content of the ad as this can confuse buyers.
Spelling and punctuation are equally as important because an ad filled with typo's sends the wrong impression to buyers who will move on to the next ad and buy from your competitor if they have a better written ad.
Q23 Using appropriate images in your ads.
A23 Uploading multiple images of the item you're advertising allows you to show potential buyers exactly what you're offering and can be the difference in making a sale or not.
Just because you can upload 5 pictures doesn't necessarily mean you should, and you should only upload images which directly relate to the item being advertised in that ad as uploading irrelevant images can easily confuse buyers.
Q24 My ad is getting a lot of views but not many replies.
A24 If your ad is getting a lot of views but not many replies, that's a good indication that you've created an ad with a good title which is attracting people to click and view your ad, but something in your ad content is making them lose interest once they read it.
It can also mean that your pricing is too high but the most common reason is either a poorly written description or no price being listed, and ads usually get a higher response rate when they display a clear title, clear and thorough description, and accurate pricing.
When writing your ad description, it's important to try and put yourself in the position of the kind of person that you're trying to attract and ask yourself what information you'd like to see if it was you interested in the ad.
Ads with photo's get a lot more attention than those without, because photo ads are shown on our high traffic gallery pages and photo's are the best way to describe something as they clearly show the potential buyer exactly what it is that you're offering.
Grammar, spelling and punctuation are very important in all aspects of your ad, and you should be careful not to write in all capital letters as it looks unprofessional, and can be very hard for people to read.
Adding multiple images and a clear and concise description can also have dramatic effects on the performance of your ad.
The performance of your ad depends almost entirely on how well your ad is written.
If you're getting a good amount of views of your ads and not many people are 'biting', that's solely down to what you have written in your ad and is something Cyberbellum have no control over as advertisers compose their own ads.
