Description
This Quiche was designed by my mother Anna. It is light and delicious.
Ingredients
| 6 | Eggs (Large) | |
| 1 | c | Milk (Skim) |
| 2 | c | Spinach (Baby) (Fresh preferable but frozen can be used) |
| 1 1⁄2 | c | Cheese (Shredded Romano, Parmesan, Feta or your favorite Cheese) |
| 2 | T | Flour (All Purpose) |
| 1 | ds | Tabasco Sauce |
| 1⁄4 | lb | Bacon (Cooked and crumbled) |
| 1 | pn | Salt |
| 1 | pn | Pepper |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F.
Separate four egg whites into large mixing bowl. Combine the egg whites and the two remaining eggs, milk, spinach, cheese, flour, Tabasco Sauce, bacon, salt, and pepper in the mixing bowl.
Oil down a 9" pie plate with cooking spray.
Pour the mixture in the pie pan. Bake for 15 minutes then reduce heat to 375 degrees for 20 minutes use knife or fork to test if done, and test every 5 minutes until complete.
Cut into 8 wedges.
Notes
Note 1: Diced ham can be substituted for bacon.
Note 2: 1 tsp. Olive oil can be substituted for meats if you prefer meat free.
